Instructions for loading a SINAPS patch.

Patch files are suffixed ".pcl"  They are universal: they may be applied
to any Version 481 image on any machine (PC or HP).

The patch will need to be loaded into every 4.8 image that you are using.

For PC users, if you want to patch the Startim image, then first change the
properties of the file so it is not write protected.  After loading the patch 
be sure to set the startim.im file back to "Read only."

Locate the Launcher Window.  Select Utility>>Parcel List.
A Parcel List window will appear.  Under the Parcel pull-down menu,
select Load.  A new window will appear instructing you to 'Load parcel
from the file named'.  Enter the patch file name, including the exact path.  

For example, on a PC, to load patch #1, input:
    d:\tmp\patch1.pcl

If the patch file is in the images directory, you need only enter
the patch file name.

Select OK.  This will load the patch into the image. Close the Parcel
List window and save the image.

Patches may be removed. There is no harm to accidently loading in the
same patch more than once.
